Tile Care & Maintenance Guidelines

Do's

Sweep or Vacuum Carefully
Sweep or vacuum the floor regularly to remove any dust or debris to prevent scratch marks on the floor.
Mop Regularly
Damp-mop your tile floor at least once a week and increase the frequency of mop cleaning, especially with heavy usage.
Wipe and Clean Immediately
Wipe and clean away any contaminants on tiles, such as coffee, dark vinegar, dark soy sauce, curry, juice etc.
Cleaning Agents & Manufacturer Instruction
Read and follow all the instructions carefully and dilute the solution accordingly to ensure maximum results are obtained and minimised damage to the tile surface.

Dont's

Don't use harsh cleaning detergents
Chemicals such as acid and bleaching compounds (Hydrochloric Acid & Sodium Hypochlorite) will reduce or eliminate the tile glaze surface and damage the grout surface.
Don't use abrasive materials
Do not use harsh cleaning aids, such as steel wool pads or any scouring pads containing metal. These materials will cause damage to the tile surface.
Don't Drag Sharp/ Heavy Objects Across The Tiles
Dragging sharp or heavy objects across the tiles will cause deep scratches, especially floor tiles not specified for heavy-duty use.
